Pet care experience
I have been caring for other peoples dogs for over 5 years. I have a small pup of my own who I have trained and walk everyday. My philosophy is to get dogs active while having fun! either on their own with me or in a group. I have looked after bigger dogs but I would prefer to care for smaller dogs. My pup is very active and loves playing. I am very focused on keeping dogs safe and healthy. My number one priority is looking after each dogs needs. I hope to meet you are your dog soon!

Tanya is a great dog sitter! She took great care of my little Chihuahua, Beans for the day while I had run errands and didn't want to leave Bean alone all day. She has a small dog named Echo who gets along well with other small dogs and loves to play.

A typical day
I love walking the trails and beaches in Powell River! My pup Echo and I walk everyday on the Millenium Trails, Seawalk or Willingdon Beach Trail. I also practice training everyday in the backyard and have plenty of playtime and rest! Fun and safety are key to caring for dogs and other animals. I have a feeding, walking and resting daily routine. On weekends we usually venture further to Mt Valentine, Scout Mountain or Palm Beach.

Availability
I am currently working from home so I can take your dog for plenty of walks and/or play in the park. They will have every chance to rest, eat and walk, depending on their needs. My routine is usually a walk in the morning, snooze at lunch and another walk in the afternoon. If your dog is not that active, that’s ok too!
