Pet care experience
I have been fostering and volunteering for my local shelter for the last 9 years. I have fostered hundreds including: - bottle feeding infant puppies/kittens - special needs - seniors/Cushing & various health issues - dogs and cats recovering from abuse - variety of behavior issues - expert at medication dosing I currently house sit for the shelter director and shelter behaviorist who have many multiple dogs (and cats) including some that cannot run together. I am highly intuitive and observant of needs or potential issues that can arise. I have a special place in my heart for those that are fearful or in need of comfort. Special needs animals are another. I appreciate in home sitting because it is easier on your pet. I am very respectful of my family’s homes. My motto is leave a place as clean or better than I found it. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby!

We were happy that Tanya was available to watch Bernie again. We know that he’s in good hands with her! She’s a great communicator, keeps the house clean and we always come home to a happy dog.

My dog, Reese, absolutely loved Tanya. He trusted her right off the bat and I could tell he was very comfortable with her presence. I got message updates and picture updates which I loved. It also put me at ease as I’d already been super nervous to leave him for a weekend. Tanya was great, thorough, and super responsive. You can tell that she really loves dogs and understands them and their owners. I would absolutely recommend her!
Tanya was wonderful! We were able to relax on our long weekend out of town knowing that Bernie was in good hands. She sent lots of updates and took great care of Bernie. We would love to have her back to watch Bernie!

A typical day
We will walk around the neighborhood, parks, or anywhere you request. Lots of play time with toys! I also stimulate mentally by practicing basic commands or tricks already learned using reinforcement through treats if allowed. Of course there will be unlimited cuddles and love. I want to follow your routines as closely as possible
