My dog Winston had severe anxiety when we adopted him but over time with love, care, and attention, he has slowly become more comfortable in the world. Raising Winston has been a challenging experience in the best way. Patience, commitment, positive reinforcement, and repetition have been my greatest assets in helping him overcome his anxiety! Winston is the first dog I have raised on my own, however I had dogs and a cat growing up!

I live in a quaint 2 bedroom home with a fully fenced front and back yard. My dog Winston is very shy and unsure of humans, but he LOVES other dogs. He usually sleeps in his crate (but sometimes he's just way too sweet to kick off the bed). I can crate your dog if that's their routine, they can have their own room, or sleep in mine, let me know what would make your animal most comfortable and happy!

A typical day
We love to throw the tennis ball around our back yard and chase squirrels up the trees! Mission Creek Dog Park is our favourite place to run around and make new friends.

Availability
I currently work from home in a part-time administrative position. I set my own schedule and choose my own hours so I can be very flexible! I usually walk Winston early in the morning, again around lunch time, and twice in the evening before bed time but I can work his schedule around your needs and can walk your buddy separate from Winston or together if they like that. Whatever you prefer!
