My best friends have four legs!

Pet care experience

I can easily be described as a "dog person." I have been lucky enough to have dogs as a constant part of my world for over 30 years. I have past work experience at a veterinary office and currently work for an animal welfare non-profit. I am also CPR trained for dogs (Red Cross Certificate in photos) and have trained as a responder for animal rescue in times of crisis and natural disasters. I am comfortable with all types of dogs - large/medium/small, young/old, special needs/diet. I am a mom of 2 awesome human daughters and 2 dog daughters ;)

Safety, trust & environment

At this time I am offering sitting and day visits in the client's home only. Your pet's well-being is my priority. I appreciate sticking to a schedule and will happily follow all feeding, walking, potty break and medication schedules you provide. I also make sure there's plenty of time for fun and cuddles.

Information Tanya C. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know about your dog's temperament (shy, social, any behavioral considerations like reactivity to other humans/animals, etc.), energy level (do they need extra walks or playtime), and do they have any special needs (diet, medication).

A typical day

Some of my favorite local parks for walks are Curtis Park and William Land Park. If your dog does well at the dog park, we can head there for an adventure, as well! Walks, playtime, and cuddles are all included and a priority. I can send pictures and videos so you can see what they're up to!
