My husband Brian and I love dogs and cats and we enjoy giving our furry friends extra special attention. We only accept pets from 1 family overnight at a time, which means 100% attention to your fur-babies! We both grew up in households with cats, and we've had over 15 years of personal experience being dog owners to our beloved Shiba Inu mix, including senior care as she gracefully aged. We are happy to open our hearts and our home to your pets for a fun and stress-free visit with lots of love and attention! We live in a 2-story townhome in South Durham with trail access right behind us. If your dog is interested and able, we would love to take your dog for a run or a long walk! We also enjoy chilling on the couch and snuggling if that's more your dog's specialty. I especially LOVE taking photos and selfies and will be happy to send daily photo updates! We are happy to watch furry felines, too. My husband and I are both working professionals with staggered schedules, and we work together to make sure your pet gets potty breaks and playtimes. If your dog is staying with us during the week, your pup won't be alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. (My husband is home in the mornings until 11am, and I typically return home before 4pm). We stay close to home on the weekends and do not leave the house for more than 2-4 hours at a time. We will request a Meet & Greet before booking pet-sitting to make sure your dog or cat will be comfortable with us and with our environment. Typically, we are available on weeknights after 6pm and flexible times on weekends for Meet & Greets. Message us to schedule one! Have a larger dog over 50 pounds?
