I’ve always been around dogs, so getting to take care of them comes second nature to me! I’ve been a long-time pet sitter for friends and family, but now work exclusively in a professional setting. I just love being able to help dogs in need, and also enjoy providing owners with peace of mind. As a dog owner myself, I know just how difficult it can be to find quality care for your best friend! No one likes to stick their pooch in a kennel, so I’m here to help keep your pup safe, happy and healthy. I currently live with my wife and my dog Tux! That makes for a very fun setting for your pup if they are to stay with me. My wife grew up with dogs and absolutely loves having a new furry friend come into the mix. My dog Tux is about as friendly as can be, and always accompanies me on my adventures. He’s a 2-and-a-half-year-old Black Lab, and he is just about the friendliest pup in the whole world. He’s always happy to meet new friends and has never had a problem with any other dog. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When your pup is under my care, making sure that you and your pup have the best experience possible is my number one priority. To accomplish that, I believe in great communication! I like to begin by getting as much information as possible about you and your pup so that I can get a good idea of your care expectations. During the stay, I make sure to send detailed, regular updates so you can be keyed into everything that we’ve done together. Of course, those will always include plenty of pictures to show you just how much fun we’re having together!
