As an animal person, I've had pets my entire life. I have extensive experience earned from owning, training and breeding Jack Russell Terriers for over 25 years, but underneath it all, I'm just a girl that loves animals. I understand and relate to a broad variety of canine temperaments and personalities, and always prefer positive reinforcement methods. Specific experience includes: • House sitting for single- and multiple-pet homes; pets have included dogs, cats, birds, horses, guinea pigs, turtles, rabbits and chickens • Dog walking and day-care for a variety of breeds • Understanding and application of obedience basic training • Broad experience with dogs in all life stages – from whelping puppies to late stages of life • A variety of medical applications with dogs, cats, horses and turtles – from wound care to injections Pet owners can expect their pets to receive from me the care they need, both physically and mentally. I endeavor to maintain consistency with their regular routine, so that your pet will enjoy their time with me and look forward to my visits. Each pet is different, but my goal is for your pet to have fun and be engaged during our time together. Also, I know that being away from your pet can be cause for anxiety, so I make a point to communicate regularly with my pet owners via photos, texts, and/or calls. There’s nothing like seeing firsthand that your pet is happy to relieve your worries so you can rest easy!
