Tanja loves dogs, and dogs LOVE Tanja! Tanja is fun and trustworthy, and my dog absolutely adored her! I had total piece of mind during my trip knowing my dog was comfortable, safe, and happy with Tanja while I was away. Tanja treated my dog like a beloved member of her family, and she was very attuned to my senior dog’s needs. Also, did I mention that Tanja lives near a beach? Yup, lots of beach adventures were had, and Tanja took the most amazing photos of my dog! Any dog would be lucky to have Tanja as a new friend. She is five stars all the way!!!

Tanja was wonderful with my dog, who was more precious to me than words can express. Colby, a shelter rescue hound mix (beagle / foxhound / coonhound), was sometimes a little anxious with new people, but Tanja’s gentle and warm nature with him put him at immediate ease. She always brought him right out of his shell and her visits with him were met with happy jumps, tail wags and a roll onto his back for tummy rubs. She made him feel seen and loved. Of all the people who came into his life, dog sat for him, etc, I felt most at ease when Tanja cared for him as I knew in my gut (and was always right) that he was in capable, safe hands. I have witnessed firsthand the deep love and commitment she had towards her own family dogs and that same sense of love and commitment was always poured into her care of my dog. Colby has sadly crossed the rainbow bridge now but I still remember fondly their bond and when I get my next dog, I know that I will immediately trust Tanja to take excellent care of them, when I need to leave town for any reason. Tanja is a dog lover first and beyond as a person is always reliable, sensitive, finely tuned to the needs of the dog and is a safe and sure choice for the care of your pet.
