I have loved dogs ever since I was a young girl and got my first puppy when I was in 3rd grade. I learned so much from my first dog and after graduating college I started house and pet-sitting for friends and coworkers. This is something I still do for co-workers; I am currently the go-to pet and house sitter for a coworker to this very day. Something that friends and family have told me they appreciate is that I am very attentive to their dogs. I noticed the ear infection in my sister's dog and an injury covered by the fur on my mom's dog before they did. As a result, I was able to let them know and their pups got treatment quickly before the issues could escalate. I believe my attentiveness is what sets me apart as a pup-sitter. I make sure to get to know pups so well that I notice if there are changes in their behavior, physical bodies, etc. I am very comfortable with any type of breed and size. I have the most experience taking care of small to large-sized dogs, but I am comfortable around giant breeds as well. I have trained three of my own dogs several commands in the past so I have a bit of experience training a dog to learn simple commands. I am comfortable administrating medications (except for injections), basic grooming, and waste clean-up.
