Pet care experience
I have been blessed enough to grow up with the love from all different types of animals including: dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, birds and even reptiles. My love for animals does not stop there though, being South African, weekends away often consisted of visiting animal rehabilitation centres or wildlife parks and interacting with as many different animals as possible.

Tamils was great, she looked after Maisie really well and kept us updated. She had a very calm energy which suited Maisie, as she can get over excited. Thanks for looking after her so well!
Billy loved his time with Tanika and we felt very comfortable leaving him with her and her partner! We loved the regular updates with lots of photos and videos, it was clear that Billy felt very at home with them!!! Tanika made an extra effort to make sure Billy was in the best care and always checked in with us. Tanika even had access to a gated park with no other dogs so she could let Billy off the lead and have a proper run around!! Definitely recommend Tanika for anyone looking for doggy daycare!
I communicated with Tanika on Rover and met with Dean during drop-off and pick-up. Tanika’s communication was great and Dean was really nice to talk with. They cared for my dog and provided updates with photos. Would definitely recommend.
Poppy stayed with Tanika for 3 nights and we were so happy with the service Tanika provided for poppy!. Regular dog walks and lots of love and even regular updates with photos of a happy poppy!. Couldn’t be more happier, definitely recommend!

A typical day
Spending time outdoors in nature is my favourite break away from the indoors. There are so many different parks and doggy trails around my area that me and your furbaby can enjoy together. It is so important to stimulate fur-babies both mentally and physically and together we can explore new smells and play with some of our favourite toys.

Availability
I have experience administrating medicine to animals as well as providing basic training to puppies (potty training, walking on a lead and sitting). I hand reared 6 Yorkshire Terrier puppies from 2 weeks old as the mommy had milk fever and could no longer nurture her pups. This consisted of bottle feeding every 2 hours, stimulating them to be able to urinate and defecate and transitioning them onto solid food. Animals inspire me to be less busy, more present, less worried and more passionate about life.
