Pet care experience
It can be daunting to find someone to watch your pet when you go out of town. It's hard to find the care that your fur-baby deserves. If a friend or family member goes out of town, I'm their go-to for animal care. I'm proud to be their trusted pet caretaker. I'd like to extend that same comfort of knowing your pet is safe and loved to you. I've had dogs and cats for most of my life and have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. Also, I've cared for pets that have required everything from taking daily medications, eye drops, to insulin shots for a diabetic cat. I have two kids, 6 and 3. They are animal lovers and love to care for our family pets, and may assist when appropriate. My children and your fur baby will never be left without adult supervision. When staying in our home: We have a large fenced in yard, perfect for running, roaming, and soaking in some sunshine. Pets are permitted on furniture and to sleep on the bed at night if this is their preference. There is always a lap to snuggle on during a family movie or for extra comfort on a stormy night. For drop ins where your pet stays home: Whether your pet wants me to take care of basics and get out the way because they’re skittish, or if they need me to play and work off their energy, I can give them what they need.

Please be sure to inform me of usual meal times and if your pet has any special requirements or routines that need to be maintained for the duration of their stay. I will be offering your dog whatever treats I give my dog, so please provide treats from home if your pet has sensitivities or strong preferences. Please pack medication, food, leash/collar, anything your fur baby needs to feel at home. I do have extra bowls, blankets and pet beds but you’re welcome to pack them if your pet would be more comfortable.
A typical day
Pet-guests always enjoy everything the big back yard has to offer with many trips outside daily, the full bin of various dog toys, constant access to a soft warm spot for a nap, and copious amounts of belly rubs and ear scratches. Your dog will absolutely get a little spoiled with attention here.

I’m a stay at home mom with a dog and two cats. There is nothing I love more than my babies and fur babies. Our pet-guests receive the same level of priority when in our care. Dogs that stay with us tend to come back, be part of our family, and be celebrated with every visit.
