Hello! My name is Tania, a Rover Premier Sitter. My husband, human son, four-legged sons Lucas and Logan, and I live in Fredericksburg , VA. I am a freelance interpreter/translator and so have a super flexible work schedule which allows me to be home most of the time. My calendar and requests are fully managed and facilitated by Rover. I am looking forward to meeting you and your dog. About this sitter: Hello there! Let me tell you a little about myself. I love to read, go for walks, and spend time with my human son and four-legged boys. Our house has a small fenced backyard, so playtime and frequent potty breaks are available. We are a smoke/alcohol free home, not the party kind, so there is always a peaceful and quiet environment in our house. My goal is to provide a loving home for visiting dogs and to keep them company at all times. I have dog beds all around the house so that Lucas, Logan, and/or any guests can feel comfortable in any room. I really want to make your dog feel comfortable staying with me and my family while his or her family is away. Why I love dog sitting: Ever since I was a little girl I have been a nature lover. I love all animals, but dogs hold a very special place in my heart. Their unconditional love and companionship are priceless! I especially have a soft spot for rescues. I have rescued many dogs in my life (along with many other types of animals), and they all have lived great lives until they have passed. I currently have a beagle mix rescue, Lucas and a semi-rescue Yorkie, Logan, who are now big brothers to my 6-year old son, and we couldn't be happier to have them in our lives. A very special dog in my life was Peseta. She was a corgi mix. I found her on the streets of Mexico City when I was studying culinary arts there. She was, according to the vet, 2 weeks old when I found her. She was a sick puppy, but with lots of love and care she lived to be almost 14 years! I know a lot of people call their dogs their babies, but in my case, Peseta really was my child. She traveled with me everywhere! About my yard: We have a small fenced-in backyard for your beloved dog, but our doggies mostly hang out inside our townhome! We do live in an area surrounded by protected wooded areas, so there's plenty of walking trails around. Lucas and Logan will surely show your dog around and they are bound to be play buddies! My experience administering medication: I am comfortable with making sure your dog gets the proper dosage of oral medications at the right time as per your directions.
