Pet care experience
Always had a family dog from a Collie to Jack Russells. Had a very spoilt cat for the last 15 yrs but sadly passed. I have cared for other members of my families dogs including chihuahua’s and labradors. As I am still working I won’t have a pet as I would want to be home to care for it. I don’t believe in leaving pets for long periods of time. Looking after other people’s in my free time is my next best option. I am preferable to small to medium/low to medium energy dogs however, I won’t rule out larger dogs and those who are high energy depending on behaviours. I’m looking forward to some great fun, lovely walks, cuddles and feeling very rewarded.

Tania & Pete took such good care of my puppy I was worried he wouldn’t want to come back home with me! 😄 It was his first time staying at a sitter’s but they made him cosy & at home, with lots of walks, play time & love. He settled in easily right from the start. Tania sent a few updates a day (photos & videos) which was really lovely to know he was getting on just fine. When we were leaving Jupiter even ran back to give Tania a snuggle goodbye 💕 pretty sure he’s already looking forward to his next visit! Thanks so much for looking after my little floofy boy so so well!

We have a quiet, safe, and calm home, just the 2 of us, we are non smokers with no other pets and offer a home from home giving love snuggles and lots of attention. Our furry visitors on holiday are not restricted in any way in our home unless the owner states. We live in a cul-de-sac and have a reasonably sized secure garden and close to moors and open fields for walking.

Just a few questions but these can be discussed at a meet up at my house where it’s nice for your pet to get familiar with. Does the dog have any health issues or medical requirements that will need to be discussed ahead of time. Will they feel any anxiety being away from the owner? Any behavioural traits? Are they still in training? Do they respond to recall? Are they high energy in the home? How often do they like to take a walk and how are they being in contact with other dogs? Do they pull on walks? Do they travel ok in the car? Can the dog be allowed off the lead? Contact numbers.
A typical day
I love playtime, ball throwing/ tug of war and long walks and often walk around the local moors, fields and lakes. This would be extra special to have a furry friend with me to enjoy it as much as I do.

Availability
I currently work Mon to Fri and my husband works from home most days. I am free during the week for walks/feeding in the afternoon after 4.30. It is possible for boarding weekdays and this can be discussed.
