I have no problem spoiling pets!

Pet care experience

I am prior active duty army, I have worked at an animal shelter. I'm currently studying psychology at BSU. I work at a day care so I'm used to unrestrained play and chaos. I have two kids 4 and 2. My life goal is to own my own animal sanctuary and be a social psychologist and destigmatize therapy. I love all animals equally although I must admit that cats are my favorite (more specifically big cats). I treat every animal I come into contact with as if it were my own. I move around a lot so keeping an animal of my own is difficult so dog sitting isnt something I do for profit but more so for the experience. Like I said, I love animals. About this sitter: I love animals more than people sometimes and have no problem treating them as my own. I can't imagine how anxious a pet must be when their owner is gone but I will ensure that they are having too much fun to worry about it. There are many things to do with a pet that most take for granted. Even the small things mean the most to them and I am willing to do that and more to ease your pet's anxiety: walks, playing with toys, rough housing, etc. Whatever it is that your pet enjoys the most I am willing to do. I've had pets my entire life; dogs, cats, ferrets, ducks, hamsters, rats, pigs, you name it I've owned it. I love animals. I worked in a vet clinic for a few months in high school and that is when I decided what my calling is. To work with and help animals in any way I can. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved animals ever since I was a child. I've had cats, dogs, ducks, rats, ferrets and hamsters. I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. It was only after I joined the military that I had to give up or give away my animals because of the constant moving. Meet my pets I have one cat. I nursed her to health as she was the ring of her litter that was found while I was working at a shelter and I just couldn't let her go. She's now my baby and I take care of her the best I can She's almost five and had a skin condition but otherwise she's doing great. About my yard The backyard is fenced in with plenty of space to throw balls or run around with dogs. My experience administering medication I don't mind giving dogs medication. So long as I am given guidance should there be a specific way the owner prefers to administer the medications. I.e. With peanut butter, tuna, lunch meat, canned dog food or hypodermic needles etc. I've used needles regularly while in the military as a combat medic so I'm not shy about blood and my experience at the vet clinic in high school as well as the animal shelter in 2015 gave me insight into the best places to administer subdermal medications for animals. I was once NCA certified and while that may have expired the knowledge gained is invaluable.

Taneesha was great! She sent pics and videos throughout my dogs stay which was really nice. My dog came back exhausted from playing so I think he had plenty of fun! I will definitely let him stay again!

This young lady Taneesha is amazing!! We had a horrible experience with a previous care sitter, so we had HIGH anxiety in the thoughts of ever leaving our 3 fur kids ever again in the care of anyone. Then we had to leave out of town and was told about rover service, so we checked it out and read each of the sitters available, we choose Taneesha. The first time we did the meet greet we had a real good feeling about her, but still we held that reserve of worry/concern trusting leaving our fur kids. We left on our trip first couple of days we were constantly texting, and stressing out! This phenomenal amazing young lady was patience, understanding and compassionate towards us. She assured us that our 3 fur kids were fine sending us pictures and updates this did help and videos :) We ended up actually relaxing on our trip, we came home to 3 very loved and happy fur kids ? Our 7 month old pit bull Grace Jordan is a handful she likes to jump on you when she greets u , however in the week we were gone we came home to a calm non jumping little girl, we were so surprised in this positive change in a short time, something we were trying to get her to do for a long period. This young lady is awesome and she keeps her promises and goes above and beyond. We are so Blessed and grateful for her ❤ She will be the one we book always for the care of our fur kids... Don't hesitate make the booking with her you will come to see what we did, that this young lady is amazing!!

I've known Taneesha for years and if there's anything I know about her, it's that she loves animals! She's the kind of person who would place the well-being of animals before herself. In other words, your pets would never crave love or attention when in her care. Your fur babies will be in the best of hands!
