I have always been an animal lover, owning at least one pet as long as I can remember. Even when I lived in an apartment, I had a fish because I could not stand being without a pet. I currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs of my own. I welcome both dogs and cats to my home, and will treat them just like my own, or I'll follow any rules you may have. I work Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm, however, I work close to home so I can provide potty breaks and check in with them on my lunch hour. I also have a Pet Camera in the house so I can check on them while I am not at home. My husband usually gets off work at 4pm, so typically the longest span of being alone (with virtual check ins) is 4 hours. I also provide Check In and Dog Walking services. My availability is between 5pm and 10pm during the week. I have open availability during the weekends. If your dog is shy or does not like cats, I will need to know so I can provide them with their own space or keep my cats separated from your dog. If your cat is shy, I can provide them with their own space. Otherwise, they will share a space with my animals. I do not kennel unless one is provided and you want them kenneled during specific times. My 9 year old Pomeranian has to take daily medication to control seizures, so I do have experience with delivering oral medication and monitoring a dog during a seizure.

Tanda is precious! She was wonderful with our nervous Goldendoodle Charley. I loved how she sent pics throughout the stay and assured me Charley was doing okay. We will definitely use her again!

The first question I ask is if your pet gets along with cats. It's okay if they do not, I just need to know if I will need to keep my cats separate from your dog. Please let me know if your pet is an escape artist or free spirit who likes to dart out doors. I would like to know if your dog has any specific needs, restrictions, rules, diets, or schedules you would like me to follow. It's important for me to know if they have any known destructive behaviors, aggressive tendencies, separation anxiety, or fears (such as fireworks or storms) prior to booking. Unfortunately, I live in city limits in a town with a 'Pit Bull' ban. However, I am happy to still provide Check In and Dog Walking services to any breed. Most importantly, I would love to know ALL ABOUT your dogs personality and their cute little quirks!
A typical day
We have plenty of dog toys in the house (toy mountain, if you will) and a fenced in back yard with plenty of balls for a game of fetch. We also have a larger kiddie pool in the back yard for the water loving dogs! I can take your dog on walks on local walking trails away from traffic, I live 3-5 minutes away from several trails. I am also willing to take your dog on hikes with me, or maybe even for a swim if the weather is nice and you are comfortable with that. Typical schedule we follow: 7am-Potty Break & Breakfast 8am-Food is picked up to avoid sharing food during the day. 9am-12pm Occasional Virtual Check Ins 12pm-Potty Break 1pm-End Potty Break 1pm-4pm Ocassional Virtual Check Ins 4pm- Potty Break & Remaining Food is given 5pm-10pm Walks, Playing, Cuddles...ect. Remaining Food is still available to your pet. Potty breaks as needed. 10-11pm Final Potty Break & Bedtime. Food is picked back up. [Please let me know if any exceptions will need to be made to this proposed schedule.]
