Pet care fits really well into my daily routine, especially since I’m on winter break from college. I don’t have classes right now, so my schedule is super flexible and I have a lot of free time during the day. That makes it easy for me to plan my day around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins without being rushed. I’m usually home, so I can give pets lots of attention and keep up with their normal routines. Winter break gives me the time to be reliable, patient, and fully focused on caring for pets.

Any medical needs, allergies, or medications are also super important to be aware of. It helps to know how the pet acts around new people, other animals, and on walks, as well as what makes them nervous or excited. I also ask about house rules, favorite toys or treats, and emergency contact info.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and happy with fun, simple activities. This can include going on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, and having outdoor playtime when the weather allows. For pets that prefer to stay indoors, I enjoy interactive play with toys, puzzle games, and giving them lots of attention and cuddles. I’m also happy to work on basic commands, routines, or just spend quiet time together so pets feel comfortable and relaxed. I always adjust activities based on the pet’s energy level and personality so they’re having fun and feeling safe.

I’ve taken care of animals all my life. I have two dogs, a German Shepherd and a husky so I have experience with larger dogs. I love every and all kinds of animals and I’ll give your animal the love and care it needs to not even notice you’re gone.
