I am a big animal lover, I spent 3 years volunteering and fostering for an animal shelter Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago and when I moved to Colorado 4 years ago, I started fostering here. Occasionally, when I have any work travel coming up and my foster animal gets adopted, I like to help out great doggie or kitty parents like yourself. I am a very experienced caretaker (dogs, cats, and even any rodents and birds!). My work trips and also a passion for traveling during my personal time would not allow me to be a responsible dog owner just yet, that is why I volunteer, foster, and do Rover so I can get the love for animals out of my system. I only host one doggie (or several from the same owner) at the time so they can have my full attention (be comfortable) and there are NO conflicts. My place is ideal for boarding senior doggies or those that are scared of other animals, children, etc. Also, I have a lot of experience with dogs that are reactive or simply not friendly with other dogs. But of course, I will be happy to take care of an active, friendly and children-loving cuddly four-legged friend, too. I am very active myself (hike or do a short run almost every day), it depends on your doggie's activeness level if they want to join me in my outdoor adventures or not. They can also comfortably stay back home while I get the energy out of my system. My partner works from home just like me, so he is usually around if I go out for a short hike or run while your baby stays in my house. As someone who works 100% remotely, I am home for most of the day and your doggie will not be left alone for more than three to four hours (while I run errands, do hikes or have occasional outings in the evenings). Also, as a European, I do love walking! No matter what weather condition it is, so if your doggie needs somebody to get them tired, send them my way! They can have a little BootCamp with me! :-) I have experience with pretty much every breed, you name it... and aside from doggies, I used to be a kitty owner and have plenty of experience with those as well as various different rodents and farm animals.
