Currently I am doing my level 5 qualification in clinical animal behaviour and welfare. I've been working as a dog walker, boarder and behaviourist for a decade, and cared for all kinds from large, tiny, aggressive, blind, newly adopted, boisterous, terminally ill, stubborn, lazy, escape prone, senior, nervous and everything else in between. I love to care for each dog individually and use my empathy and study to provide the best care, and training when needed but I've also engaged in some cpd over the years, including Level 5 CIDBT modules and workshops in aggression and professional practice, Level 3 Pet First Aid and Level 3 Canine Day care and Boarding. This has been my full time career for 10 years and at least a portion of each day is dedicated to my goal of having animals in our care feel their best, whether I'm making video content, writing articles, working directly with owners and dogs or dropping in to spread joy and dreamies to an eagerly waiting feline! Currently, I provide one off services for days or weeks at most, in order to fulfil my love of travelling whilst also caring for my senior cat. With any animal in my care, regardless of species, age or behaviour I treat the animal as if it were my own and with the understanding that I've come to develop. Each individual animal has it's own needs, limits, experiences, preferences, motivations, and it's important to me to be able to spend dedicated time and attention to each animal rather than spreading the care and focus too thin, as can often happen in large groups or busy environments.
