I’ve never known life without an animal by my side! I’ve been dog and cat-sitting since I was a child. I have a dog and cat of my own now, but still frequently volunteer at animal shelters in my hometown. I have experience caring for rats, gerbils, dogs, and cats over the years. If that’s something you need assistance with, I’m more than happy to provide that service. I also have a car, so I could transport your dog anywhere you need whether it be a certain park to enjoy or a grooming appointment.

There’s no one I could recommend more than Tamsen for dogsitting. In the 8 years we’ve been friends, I’ve seen that in every area of her life—her schoolwork, her job at the restaurant we work at together, and of course, caring for her 4 dogs—she takes responsibility and doesn’t cut corners. She’s one of the most hardworking and trustworthy people I know.
Full disclosure: Tamsen is my Daughter! She is a very responsible young lady who has been playing and caring for dogs all her life. All animals immediately love her.

I have a fenced-in backyard, and my house has been animal-proofed so there’s no possibility of them getting into things they’re not supposed to. I also work from home, so the most I’m away from home is to get groceries or go to the gym.

I don’t have any breed preferences, all dogs are really great. If they have any medical issues or aggressive behaviors when it comes to food, I’d prefer to know beforehand. Also, if your pup is afraid or triggered by anything, I would want to know so I could refrain from distressing them.
A typical day
There’s lots of great parks around. I could walk just around the neighborhood or we could walk down to Carondelet Park (the park nearest to me; if there’s a park closer to your house, I’d be more than happy to walk there). I love playing fetch, tug of war, or just tossing a frisbee.
