Even though I don't have professional experience working with dogs, I do have experience with animals in general. During my time as a volunteer with the SPCA, I gained general knowledge and care techniques for a variety of animals. I love animals and believe they should always be treated with love and compassion. One of my responsibilities as a volunteer was to socialize the dogs which included daily walks (sometimes running), kennel cleaning, and playing. When I come across an animal in need or in distress, I will either take him/her to the shelter right away or in my home for a few days. I currently have two parakeets and a rabbit for pets, and there is never a dull moment. All animals are important and need to be loved.
