*UPDATE* Mid July 2023 I adopted a dog! The sweetest border collie/shepherd mix. He was rescued off a Sask reservation. Unfortunately this means my services are very limited until I buy my own place and can board on a limited basis IF you want to explore housesitting and have a friendly non reactive dog, happy to meet and see if bringing my dog is an option. We think he was attacked so can be timid especially around certain dogs but is otherwise very good with dogs, cats etc. Fees would be reduced to $30/ night instead of $45. Growing up on a farm and with tough times, my German Shepherd was my best friend. Dogs have and will always have a special place in my heart! I worked in a shelter as care giver and as an animal cruelty investigator. I was also a foster coordinator for Big Heart rescue, where fostered elderly dogs (hospice) with special needs and was also a foster coordinator. I also have experience looking after farm animals: horses, chickens, goats, sheep and more! I will happily take your dog on hiking adventures, walks or runs! But also really enjoy giving your beloved pet(s) a lot of love. My job as a run and strength coach allows me to be flexible and provide excellent care! I am mature, responsible, clean, and reliable. My priority is to keep your pets safe, happy, loved, healthy. Your home safe and secure. Safety consciousness is high. My goal is to make sure your pets will feel secure, reassured, cared for, and excited to spend a few days with their friend. Your place will be kept clean and respected. Plants watered, mail, whatever you need. I keep to myself and am a mature, quiet person.
