Pet care experience
I have adored caring for dogs for over twenty years. I have trained puppies, rescued a senior from being put down, and taken special care of our family dog who was in medical treatment for seizures. I have fostered dogs of all temperaments and enjoyed every one of them! I am home all day and have plenty of time to play with your dog! I teach piano (mostly zoom or I go to their house) several hours each week but beyond that I am free to love on your pet! I have a fenced in yard and a sweet natured beagle to keep your cherished companion company. We live in a terrific neighborhood full of dog lovers where I will walk your pet.

Tammy kept our senior aged beagle “Abby” for 13 days. We chose her because she was experienced with keeping senior aged dogs. After I met her, I could tell that she was going to take good care of our dog. While we were on our trip, she informed us regularly about how Abby was doing. She even figured out how to get Abby to eat her kibble again (she was not eating well when we dropped her off). We highly recommend Tammy!
Miss Tammy took excellent care of our Sadie. She was very pleased to come home, however, it was evident by her appearance and demeanor, that she was well cared for at Miss Tammy‘s home. We would definitely be comfortable and leaving our baby with Miss Tammy again.
Excellent experience with Tammy! Nora is treated like family. I am always confident she will be well cared for and loved. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our girl!
This was our first experience boarding our dogs at someone’s house instead of using a kennel, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Tammy sent pictures throughout the weekend that let us see how the dogs were integrating into her household and she was very communicative with us during their stay. We will definitely have them stay with her again…we’ll never go back yo a kennel!

My yard has a 6’ privacy fence with two solid gates the same size. These remain locked. I also keep a gate in the hallway to the entryway that keeps dogs far away from the front door and door to the garage. We do not use the front door except for dog owners and my students. The gate is always in place.

Information Tammy F. would like to know about your pet
I specialize in taking care of senior dogs or dogs with with physical or medical needs. I have administered oral, injectable, and topical meds comfortably. I love helping these very important members of your family.
A typical day
I am generally home all day except for the occasional appointment. We have a dog door from inside the house to the screened in back porch and another dog door with no flap that leads into the yard. On mild days I leave my back door cracked open for the dogs to come in and out freely, especially if they haven’t taken to the inside dog door. They all do well with the screened porch dog door to the yard.

I teach piano in the afternoons after school lets out. It is only a short time every day and does not interfere with my care for the pups. In fact, many dogs enjoy meeting the children.
