I have been in animal rescue since 1988, both in shelter environment (I am a former Reserve Animal Control Officer with County), in disasters such as Hurricane Katrina, ASPCA First Responder as well to help to run a local Pittie Me Rescue, a local rescue. I also owned and operated a full boarding/grooming and pet sitting business out of my home. Although I closed the business in 2006 to focus on the other family business; I continued to pet sit occasionally. I re-opened the pet sitting/dog walking business full time in April 2016. I have had all kinds of animals over the years including horses, goats, dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish. I find animal's companionship very calming even in a crazy atmosphere so if your pet has bad manners, I don't mind. Some clients may ask if I am available to take care of livestock; the answer is generally no but in a pinch, I can help with your horses, goats and pigs for short-term assignments.
