Pet care experience
I have had pets of all types, from goldfish to parakeets, turtles, tortoise and a cockatiel but my heart belongs to k-9s. I’ve studied, loved and cared for them as my own. I come with open arms and compassion for all of them. I volunteered at ASPCA all throughout my youth developing a love of even our most unfortunate friends with disabilities, disfigurements and old age. I’ve cared for those little ones just coming in to this world. I’m honored to be the light at the end of the tunnel, as well as the light that brightens that new little world they hop around in. Understand that no matter what size or age they are in good hands when you can’t be there. See you soon 😊

She tried to watch my dog and another at the same time unbeknownst to me. She took my dog home with her, despite this being a house sitting agreement. My dog is not comfortable with other dogs and in new environments and that could have ended very badly. Thankfully he’s safe, though he did have to spend the night alone as her priority was to watch the other dog. She didn’t come to get him until 11 am keeping him cooped up for over 12 hours. I would not have known any of this had my security camera not picked it up. This caused me a lot of stress on my holiday. She did apologize when pressed saying she got her schedule mixed which is why I’m leaving 2 stars instead of 1, but I will not be asking her to Dogsit again.
Tamira is awesome! I always feel so comfortable leaving my pup with her, knowing he’s safe and having a great time.
This was my first time using Rover and i had the best experience! Tamira did such a great job! She sent me daily pictures and videos of my dog. She’s super nice and caring. I will definitely be going back to her in the future!

I tend to only keep pups from one family in my home at any given time. Under certain circumstances I will communicate with each pups owner to give them the option of having their pup with another family. There is ample space for everyone to be comfortable and have space. No more than 3 dogs altogether in my home under any circumstance.

I would love to know about any dietary restrictions, breathing issues, or potty issues before hand so I can be prepared and be at my best ability to help in the future. Due to recent changes some breed restrictions apply for my building. Pit bulls, German Shepherd, Rottwiller, Akita, Tosa Inu and Wolf hybrids breeds are not allowed.
A typical day
With a dog friendly environment at home and ample parks and places to be, there is always an adventure. I’m comfortable stimulating and playing fun games with our more antisocial pups. As well as trained on behavioral cues when dogs engage in social interactions with others.

I’m currently working from home, so there is plenty of time for the pups. I can accommodate any regular schedule for each dog in my care
