What makes me different? I've been a host with Rover for over 6 years, but before that I worked in kennels with amazing trainers and coworkers. Not all dogs do great in a kennel environment and I am here to offer an alternative for those that would do best in a home. I treat them just like my own with couch and bed privileges, playtime and field trip puppuccinos. My many 5 star reviews demonstrate that my pet parents love me and keep coming back. I'm fully insured through Rover, and I carry independent insurance as well. Meet and greets are REQUIRED prior to booking a stay. Introducing our pups to each other and discussing our expectations leads to the best stay for everyone! I work with small breed dogs exclusively, no one over 40lbs please. I adore long stays! Lots of cuddles, play, and treats (per your wishes). I do not offer day care. In my experience, the boarding dogs never have a chance to relax if new dogs are coming and going all the time and that does not make for the best experience for your pups! There is no smoking of any kind on my property. I'm asthmatic and also scent sensitive, so please keep that in mind when bringing any items freshly laundered for your pet's stay. Avoid scent boosters, dryer sheets, or scented laundry detergent. Thank you for looking out for me :) BOARDING: $99 per day. Staying the weekend? That's Fri, Sat, Sun = 3 days. Lola and Dozer are so happy we found Tami! Lola and Tami go way back, so pretty sure she’d rather stay with Tami all the time. Tami is the best... she takes great care of the dogs, treating them with love and affection. Of course, there’s lots of play time too. The best of all worlds!! This review is long overdue, but it's important to me to rate Tami's exceptional care and service. From the pre-booking and the meet up to the drop off and pick up, Tami was extremely professional and courteous to both my dog and myself. I initially had some reservations about booking a long stay for my dog over the holidays, but Tami reassured me and after our meet and greet my mind was at ease. Scruffy, my dog, had a great time at Tami's and he was extremely comfortable in her care, which says a lot because he typically takes a while to warm up to new people. Scruffy can be shy and Tami knew exactly how to handle it: within a couple hours they became friends. Not only did Scruffy make a new human friend during his stay, but he also had the opportunity to socialize with other dogs and this was also a big positive experience. Overall, I am so happy and relieved that we found such a reliable person to take care of our Scruffy. I highly recommend Tami and her welcoming, dog friendly home to anyone. Thank you, Tami, for a wonderful experience! We'll definitely be in touch on our next trip.
Tami was awesome with our dog jake!! She sent us video's everyday we were gone showing him playing and having fun with the other dogs!! We will definitely be using her again when we go on vacation!!

I am cpr/first aid certified with 2 fully fenced yards with lots of space to run and play. Pets are welcome in all areas of the house and my property is not treated with pesticides or fertilizers and it is safe for everyone. Both my boys are sweet, loving, and friendly to new pups. They are especially comforting to anxious doggos, being that they are so chill in nature. I have fridge space for any raw/cooked/home made diet you may have AND I LOVE LOVE LOVE making meals with loads of mix ins and special things you do for your pup out of love!

Drop off and pick up times are schedule like doctor's appointments. They are firm. It is very important to communicate with me if you are running early or late. Pups need time to adjust when they arrive and I schedule pick ups and drop offs with gaps to allow for introductions and acclimation. If you are early you may interfere with an introduction process, if you are late, you may cut YOUR pup's time to adjust short and this time period is essential to a great stay and vacay. Drop off/Pickup times are 7am - 8pm. If we need to pick up earlier or later, it can be arranged for small fee.
A typical day
I've two fully fenced yards for pups to explore, and unlimited amount of toys (it's a personal problem...) and a doggie pool that is made available as weather permits. We do lots of snuggles and love time, and treats as permitted.

I do not work outside the home, so I am here all the time to care for your pups! I'm dedicated to their needs be it: special meal prep, medications (injectable or otherwise), or other special levels of care.
