I've grown up with dogs, cats, and other small animals my entire life. I love getting outside so would like to have a dog to take with me! Hikes are more fun with a furry friend :) Iv'e taken care of a range of dogs as far as age and size, and have a bit of dog training experience. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. Whatever schedule your pet is on or needs, I can make it happen. I am available most holidays as well! Right now I am unable to provide home stays in my own home. But as mentioned above I am able to stay in your home if desired.

Tamarah popped in for a drop in visit for my doggo and followed directions, sent pictures and gave a detailed Rover card. Would book again!
My cocker spaniel didn’t even want to leave Tamarah’s place after his boarded stay! She was incredibly communicative, extremely flexible, and an obvious overall animal lover. I greatly appreciate her help with caring for my pup, and I know he’s excited to be able to visit her again!
Poppy had such a fun time with Tamarah, we definitely plan to have her come hang out again 🥰

I walk dogs at least twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. I also like taking dogs to Crown Mountain, hiking the Lorax trail, or walking around the open space in Carbondale. Of course this also depends on how friendly and trained your dog is and if you’re comfortable with me driving them. And if your dogs sleep in the bed thats okay with me! The more cuddles the better.

Let me know if you’re dog has any special needs that I should be aware of. For example I have taken care of a few aggressive dogs that can’t be near other dogs. Or if your dog needs medication or has joint problems. I also like to know how if your dog travels well in a car or what breaks he/she might need during the day.
A typical day
I love to get outside and having a furry friend with me makes it 2x better! I love hiking in the summer and uphilling in the winter. Also long walks in the park or throwing balls if you’re dog is okay off leash. I love taking dogs to crown mountain park or to the dog park in Carbondale. I also love taking hikes up mushroom rock, Arbany kittle, or smugglers.

Availability
My work schedule right now is very flexible so please reach out and we can discuss what works best. On a standard day I am home most of the morning, and if I leave I am able to provide brakes every 3 to 6 hours.
