Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals. I've been in charge of feeding, exercising, bathing, training, enclosure cleaning, and medication administration. I've worked with dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, snakes, bunnies, goats, hamsters and chickens.

Tamara took incredible care of our dog Laika! Laika doesn't like a lot of strangers, but Laika loved her. We went away to Mexico for a week and Tamara took great care of her. I highly recommend Tamara!
Tamara has been an incredible dog walker for our two dogs. She is very thoughtful, diligent on time and extremely respectful. I would recommend her to my family or any of my friends without hesitation.

As a student, I don't have a home that would allow me to board animals or provide daycare, but I do have a car and can drive to where you are to check in on your pet's a few times a day, or stay at your place on the days I don't have class. I'm willing to clean cages or enclosures, take your pet out for walks, feed them meals and administer necessary medications. I've worked with pets with allergies, diabetes, arthritis, and other special requirements. Growing up on a farm, I've also dealt with a variety of emergency situations and am comfortable addressing problems that may arise such as allergic reactions, accidents, or wounds.

I've worked with a large variety of animals that have a large variety of needs. If your pet has a special routine to follow, particular fears that they need to avoid, any allergies or physical restrictions, just let me know. I want to keep everyone as healthy and happy as they can be.
A typical day
I'm a fairly active person, I love to go for long walks or even jogs and having a dog for company only makes a trip more fun. I also have a good arm for playing fetch or tug-of-war!

Availability
I'm a fifth year student at the University of Waterloo, studying History and Psychology. I only have classes mondays-thursdays, and only for a couple hours per day. I spend most of my free time doing homework so my schedule is very flexible
