Hi there! I'm Tamara, a part - time writer looking to spend my time doing what I've always loved: taking care of animals. My professional experience with animals started when I was young and volunteered for the SPCA, and I have been offering my services as a pet sitter both on and off Rover for about 6 years now. I've also had many pets of my own over my lifetime, including cats, dogs, and rodents! I'm 27, a non-smoker, and spend a lot more time cozy at home than out and about. I love going on walks ( much more fun with dogs ) and tend to be very neat.

We had Tamara babysit our 3 fur babies for a week when our family went to the Dominican. We were quite scared to have a stranger stay in our home but there was no way I could have my babies stay anywhere else. Tamara did an amazing job and attended to their every need. She sent pictures every single day and just gave us a briefing about what was going on. I came home to a clean house and clean beddings and happy babies, I would definitely use Tamara again and recommend her to friends and family.
Tamara took the most amazing care of marcel when we were away for 11 days. She was available on relatively short notice and was quick to respond. She was very open to some of our dogs ‘quirks’. She gave very regular updates with pictures so we had absolute confidence during our vacation! Would definitely recommend and will rebook in future. She also took great care of our house, i think she left it cleaner than when she arrived!
Tamara was amazing! We had her watch our 12 year old, 100 lbs bouvier over the long weekend. He took to her very quickly. She was very respectful of all of our requests. We will definitely be using her again when needed.
Tamara took care of our dog and house for 8 days. I was super stressed about leaving our dog alone for the first time, he is very shy, but after meeting with her I knew I had nothing to worry about. Our dog took to her instantly! I could tell from picture updates she sent me our dog was having a great time and living his best life. Our flight was delayed coming home and she was very accommodating waiting for us to arrive back at the house. Not a thing was out of place in our home, in fact it might have been cleaner than when we left. I will definitely be using her services again.

I have no problem adjusting to any hours your pet may need attention or special care, and have experience administering various types of medication!

No breed preferences! I would love to know any nearby places they like to walk, and special dietary habits/treats, if they need medicine and how to administer it if needed. If there is any specific schedule to keep them on or behavior quirks that might need attention ( such as unique signs they want to go out or be fed ). Of they need any help with certain tasks and whether or not they're allowed on furniture would be good too!
A typical day
Any parks or routes local to your area would be amazing to know for the best walk possible! Otherwise, I plan to make sure they have fun with any toys or just low energy cuddles if they're not the actively playful type. Getting to know each pet individually and what they like is important to me, because no animal will fit into the same routine or enjoy the same activities.
