I have grown up with family pets: dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals and reptiles, and started house/pet sitting for friends and family since I was 15 years old. My husband and I currently have 4 large (spoiled) pups at home, that range from 3 to 12 years old (with a broad range or personalities and quirks), and have spent the last 7 years fostering for a couple local rescues. I mainly focused my rescue time with the tougher medical cases for fosters, and while it was a ton of work, it was so rewarding to watch them heal and grow, and be able to find the perfect new homes. I have experience providing oral and injectable medications, as well as behavioral insight for the pups who are just a little timid, anxious or energetic. I am very transparent with my hours and scheduling, so that you can feel confident that your pets will be well taken care of. I also will take care of them as if they were my own - I will not leave the house during my stay unless it's for work or a quick necessary errand.
