Pet care experience
I am a recently retired public school educator, having served as a psychologist and student service director. I retired to care full time for my mom, for two years. I am now looking for something meaningful, and fun, to do, and I believe caring for your pet(s) is it! I have had horses, dogs and cats in my lifetime. I have cared for the pets of family members and friends. I will be available from April thru October in the Keene area of NH and November thru March in the Dunedin area of Florida.

Outstanding!!! Tamara attention to detail is unmatched!!! Our baby was loved and cared for like her own with lots of walks and fun outings. Tamara stayed in our home and all things were left as they were, she even washed her over night bedding. She went above and beyond and we will def be seeking her out again in the future!
Our family was very fortunate to have someone take such great care of our boy. Tammy sent us photos and texts with updates of Mr. Porters shenanigans each day as she knew we were nervous about leaving our boy behind. She took him on several walks each day and gave him all the love and snuggles he wanted. We were truly lucky to have Tammy!
On several occasions I have used Tam for my Aussie/chow rescue. My dog is a fussy eater and takes his time getting to know people. Tam has given him loving compassionate care and I would highly recommend her for your dog. He seemed quite content and well cared for. The last time Tam came, she also had to care for my daughters high energy one-year old golden retriever. Tam was very comfortable with the care of two dogs and the high energy needs of the puppy.
If we could give more than five stars, we would!! Tamara was a wonderful communicator, who left our house in a better state than when we left it – – and Bucky was incredibly well taken care of. Our return flight was delayed, and Tamara went out of her way to make sure we didn’t stress about the timing and her flexibility with chaotic travel was very much appreciated. Would definitely book again!

I have no pets currently, and no children in our home. I do not have a fenced in yard currently, but do abut a golf course in NH which is great for walks! In Florida, I do have a fenced in back yard.

Please let me know if your dog as any special needs and/or behavioral challenges so I can accommodate for those. When caring for dogs in my own home, I'd prefer dogs that don't shed or shed minimally.
A typical day
When caring for a dog at my house, we can walk on the golf course and even go for golf cart rides! The last dog I cared for loved that!
