I've been a pet-owner for most of my life, and love dogs so much! I think they teach us a lot about ourselves and they are wonderful companions. I had my own small dog (Blondie, a 7lb Havanese) who passed away in 2022 at age 16, so I took a break from dog sitting, and also moved to a new province. I’m settled in now and ready to welcome dogs again! I work full-time from my house, so I am ready to care for your dog as if they were in your own home. I love taking dogs for long walks, and live close to green spaces, so it's easy to keep them active and engaged. I am also happy to visit your home to help with dog-walking or house-sitting, as you wish. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet very soon!

Tamara took excellent care of my dog while I was out of town during the last week of March. She provided me with regular updates and pictures of my dog enjoying herself. Tamara went above and beyond to ensure that my dog was happy and content. Would highly recommend Tamara if you are looking for someone to make your dog feel relaxed and at home while you’re away.
Tamara was so relaxed and kind at drop off. She was very attentive to my older and younger dogs unique needs. She sent lots of pictures and updates. We don’t leave the dogs often and Tamara settled both our dogs and our hearts which allowed us to enjoy our time!
Tamara was wonderful with my pup Summer! He is nervous of new people but was immediately interested in her. Dogs can tell who are dog people and can be trusted! Tamara is definitely one!
Tamara was so lovely to our dogs! She went the extra mile - providing care plus a lot of snuggles, and sending us many photos to reassure us that all was well. We are so grateful to have found her.

A typical day
I live right downtown and near the waterfrontl. I go for long walks through the parks and trail areas. I also love to play with dogs and their toys (or mine).

Availability
I work on my own schedule, from home, so I am able to put the dog’s needs at the forefront of my day. I have a small yard for quick breaks and live near green space for longer wanders.
