I've owned dogs for as long as I can remember. All but one dog I've had, I've rescued. I'm an extreme animal lover therefore I truly believe that your dog in a big part of your family, someone you may consider your child. I currently own 2 cats and 2 dogs Lab mixes. I've pet-sat for many friends. I've even pet-sat a friends Lab and they no longer want anyone but me to care for their baby. Why I love pet sitting: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I've owned many animals over the past 20 years or so and I've only actually paid for one...All others I have rescued. My current babies include 2 dogs and 2 cats and believe me, they are spoiled!! I've pet sat for several dogs over the years and each person continued/continues to use my services whenever they need me. When I've pet-sat in my home, the owners always "complained" that their dogs came back spoiled. My boss at my old job once told me that when he died he wanted to come back as one of my animals. I've also been pet-sitting 2 dogs since the Thanksgiving holiday, on a constant basis, whenever the owner needs me. I can't see my life without those 2. He also has an outdoor stray cat that he feeds, so of course I take care of the cat, as well. By the way, when hired to go to a customers home to feed and let their dogs out, I don't just do that and leave. Honestly, I usually play with the animals (dogs) and simply love on them for at least an hour each time I go. I take care of others babies as I would my own. My experience administering medication: Yes I am comfortable administering medications.
