Tamara is absolutely terrific. I’ve never left Lucy with anyone other than family and she’s never been to daycare. Needless to say, I was a wreck. Our meet and greet left me assured Lucy would be in a lovely, safe and caring home and she’d have a tiny pup to pal around with! (they’re best friends now) Tamara sent me tons of photos, daily. Each photo assured me of Lucy’s happiness and made me a bit jealous (Lucy was invited to a puppy bday party!!). Tami and her family genuinely love animals and will treat them as their own. I hate saying this, I’ll be taking Lucy to tami’s vs my parents... Lucy had such a blast!
Sati loved her stay with Tamara + family! Tamara was communicative throughout my entire trip with photos and updates of all the things Sati was up to! Thanks again!!!
Tamara was awesome! Our mini dachshund was new to doggy day care and had never stayed with a stranger. Rooney stayed two days in a row; he was a little apprehensive at first but quickly warmed up to Tamara and her family, and on the second day he was happy to see her and ran right inside! Rooney had a great time going on walks and playing ball. He was worn out after leaving and certainly had much more fun than if he were home in his crate. Tamara was great about sending updates and photos! We are so relieved and happy to have a such a wonderful sitter that cares for our fur baby as if he were her own. Highly recommend!
Tamara and her wonderful family treat our dog, London, as if she is their own. And, London certainly feels that they are her extended family as well!. Each time we drop London off with Tamara, we immediately feel a sense of comfort and peace of mind.

I have tons of experience with all kinds of pets (lizards, mice, hamsters, bunnies, cats, Guinea pigs, chickens, an opossum (!) and, of course, many dogs). As an infant I shared my playpen with a litter of 8 pups! All through my childhood we owned dogs and bred dogs. I have owned a rescue greyhound and two sweet but rambunctious rescue golden/Labrador/other mixes. My husband also grew up with dogs. My son (5) and daughter (3) adore them! They are very gentle and will spend lots of time playing with and cuddling your pup.

Availability
We are an active family and spend many hours outdoors, either playing in the yard or walking the trails to the various Daniel Island parks. I believe the world is our classroom, so we love to take trips to the beach, the mountains, downtown Charleston and just about anywhere we can explore God's creation. Let us take your dog along! When your dog needs a break, he/she can relax in our fenced in back yard where there is lots of sun and shade, on the porch with a fan, or in the house, where he/she will be free to roam around.*
