Pet care experience
I am a dog lover through and through, and have years of experience caring for dogs (and cats!). I grew up with two large German Shepherds, and dogsat for another German Shepherd on the weekends from time to time! I also am an experienced housesitter, and have sat for my friends and family on many occasions. I am unable to own a dog in my rental, so I am sure to treat your loved one with all the care, compassion, patience, and attention they deserve. I will follow your instructions to the letter no matter how detailed.

I have a 7-year-old Pitt bull mix and she can be energetic and a lot at times. When my husband and I are going to be out of the house for an extended period amount of time, Tamara is the first person we call. She has a big heart and spoils my Millie. She knows how to handle canine behavior since Millie is a jumper! Tamara sends us texts and pictures of Millie while we are away, assuring we can have fun without any of the worry! Millie gets SO excited when Tamara comes over to visit!

I am currently unable to board dogs at my apartment, but I do own a car and am more than happy to take your dog out for walks, or even go out to grab dog food or anything like that!

I would like to know if there are any commands that differ from the usual "sit, stay, come", protocol when taking them out (do they get rewards?), how they handle on leashes, things to watch out for, and how they like to play. Would you like pictures or texts during the day? I would also like to meet the pet to ensure we are a good fit. I love big dogs! I have experience with German Shepherds and Pitbulls, but I love almost all dogs. I am willing to meet and care for any dogs, as long as we click!
A typical day
I would love to play games, keep them company, take them on walks, maybe to local parks if there are any near you! I will give them treats only if pre-approved to do so, and will reinforce any training requested!

Availability
I work from home in the Squirrel Hill area of Pittsburgh, so my schedule is what I make of it. I am able to come over during a workday, stay overnight, or even pop over a few times to check in on your house and pets! I am completely flexible, but will be moving in June.
