A Vacation for Your Dog, Too!
Pet care experience
We are a family who adores dogs! We hosted dogs through DogVacay and Rover for many years but took a break as our Golden Retreivers aged and have since passed. We are missing their companionship and are ready to open our home to new furry friends. We've had experience with puppies to seniors, large and small. Our home is located outside of town, away from the main road. We have a very large yard for your dog to play in. We have lots of tennis balls and dog toys. We'll treat your dog like a member of our own family.

Our dogs were so excited to be back at Tamara’s after an initial visit. They got plenty of excercise, played games, and took a few naps in the sun. I loved getting frequent photos of the pups. Tamara and Ed are such warm people—you can tell they really love dogs. Scooby and Bella will be back soon!
Best experience I could have ever hoped for! Tammy is a true dog lover and welcomed my dogs into her family and home like they were hers. She sent me photos each day and I could see the dogs were in paradise!
You know when the dogs have had a great time when they want to stay with their sitter than go home with Mom and Dad. :-D
As always, Jessie's stay with the Benzigers was perfect! So reassuring to have such a comfortable and caring environment for any dog, but especially for one that is older. Love the way Jess seems to fit right in with her friends, Jack and Buddy! So fortunate to have this DogVacy home and family!

We do our best to make our guests comfortable whether it is letting them on the couch (if they are allowed to at home) or sleeping in our room at night. We've had experience with dogs who have medical issues as well as dietary restrictions.

Is your dog friendly with other dogs? If we have another dog visiting, we like to make sure everyone is compatible. We do not have a fenced yard so dogs must be comfortable being on a leash. Is your dog up to date on flea and tick prevention and vaccines? Are there any special dietary or medical needs?
A typical day
We go for walks throughout the day and will try to keep your pet on schedule. We can have outside or inside playtime and promise to give your dogs lots of love and attention.

I work from home most of the time and am usually not gone for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time. We try to accommodate your dog's daily routine as much as possible.
