Pet care experience
I will work hard to provide a safe and happy environment for your fluffy family member while you are out of town. I work from home so I can provide lots of bathroom breaks, walks, and cuddles at all hours of the day or night. I have all had pets as part of my family for my entire life and I will treat your pet like part of my family too. My 14-year-old border collie, Barley, passed away of cancer last year so I do not currently have any pets. In addition to Rover, I have been a foster for a local rescue, so I have lots of patience and a good carpet cleaner. Unfortunately, I have moved and I'm no longer able to board animals or do daycare in my home, but I'm happy to come to your home and follow your pets' regular schedule and give them as much attention as they prefer. I am comfortable working with minor behavior issues (jumping, trouble walking on leash) but not aggressive behaviors. If your dog likes to lay around on the couch I can give them company while I work. If they like long walks or hikes in the woods I can accommodate that as well. I want to make your pet few as comfortable and secure as possible so I’ll do my best to provide care in the same way you would.

I could rate Tamar beyond 5 stars if there was an option. We left Teddy for more than 10 days and he thoroughly enjoyed his vacation. Tamar took care of him like her own pup. We kept getting regular updates about his well being, and his play dates videos/pictures from dog park. At first, we were very anxious how well will he do for 10 days as we never travelled this long without him but Tamar did a commendable job taking care of our Teddy! :) We are sincerely thankful to Tamar and we are sure Teddy would be more than happy staying with her next time. Would recommend her without a doubt!
Tamar did an excellent job with our dog while we were away over the 4th. She sent daily updates(including pics) letting us know how our pup was doing. I could tell Tamar cares for the animals she boards by the fact she inquired if our dog was afraid of fireworks and would try to minimize the impact on out pup. Would definitely book again.
Tamar was great. She made time to meet ahead of time. Kept me updated throughout Evey s stay. Evey seemed to have a lot of fun!!!
Tamar did an excellent job. She was very responsible and took good care of my doggies. I was apprehensive about leaving them for a week, but with her care they did very well.

I don’t have any breed preference- they’re all lovely! I am used to being covered in fur from my own pets and have found homes for six puppies as part of the local rescue. As long as your dog gets along with others and doesn’t bark all the time, we will be just fine!
A typical day
I love to go for walks around the neighborhood or on longer hikes in the woods. I am also a big fan of the dog park in York because there’s so much room for them to run in the grass and play near others or have their own space. If your pup prefers to lounge on the couch I am happy to do that too! I always send photos of your fur baby to let you know they’re doing well.
