Big dogs. Small Dogs. I love them all! My love for dogs started with my family's dog but soon expanded to every dog I've met. For the past few years, I've regularly taken care of my friend's dogs while they are out of town. Whether it's walking, playing, or just plain old couch potato-ing, I take an individual approach and meet dogs where they are. I will gladly send you pictures and videos of your dogs. I'm also happy to stay and play with them!

I cannot recommend Tam enough. As a very anxious dog parent, this was the first time I’ve ever left my pup with someone who wasn’t a close friend or family member. This was also the longest my partner and I had been away from him (5 days). Tam put all my anxiety to ease almost immediately. She shared basically a diary of my dog’s day every single day, complete with lots of photos! She spoke to his eating habits, if there were any issues with his stool or stomach, and his mood every day. She was extremely communicative. When I got home, my dog was so peaceful and clearly well-rested, which is saying something considering his separation anxiety! Tam even made us a couple of stickers of photos she had taken of Auggie. Our apartment was spotless and Tam was considerate of our space. I really cannot recommend her enough, and I have so much peace of mind knowing that we have an incredible sitter to rebook for our next trip!
Tam was amazing with my dog, Liliboo. This was our first time trying housesitting and having Tam has the sitter gave us so much peace. She met with me beforehand for almost an hour and tried to understand all possible details about my dog and the house. She was incredibly communicative and send tons of cute photos throughout the sitting period. She even send multiple updates daily about all the things they were doing. She also took my dog on additional walks everyday which he thoroughly enjoyed. And she also cooked for my picky dog when he refused to eat the food I had left for him. To add to that, she left the house extremely clean after the sitting. She also went the extra mile and made me some cute stickers of my dog which I now have on my refrigerator. Can't appreciate Tam's dedication and work ethic enough. She even continued working when she got sick which I am incredibly grateful for since I was out of the country. We would definitely be booking her in the future. Liliboo was also sad when she left. So, I know that he can't wait to spend time with her again as well!
Tam took excellent care of my pups while I was away and was a very considerate guest in my home. Tam asked questions about caring for my pups that I haven't thought of and was all around an excellent communicator. She was clear about when she was able to be with them, when they were able to get outside and how they were doing with feeding, sleep etc. The many photos she sent reassured me that they were happy and well taken care of. I would not hesitate to hire Tam to stay with my pups again.
Tam is the BEST! This is our second time using Tam when we’ve traveled out of state. My elderly chihuahua has a tooth issue and I was worried about leaving her but Tam was so attentive and truly put my worries at ease. She gives lots of detailed updates, sends pictures and asks a lot of questions which shows she cares. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter for my babies! Thank you, Tam!

For dogs that require more care, I have experience working with a fixed eating schedule, medications, and daily walks. I take a client-centered approach to house/dog sitting. Each dog and home environment is different.

A typical day
Each dog is different, so I like to meet the dogs where they are. For senior dogs, I'd love to cuddle on the porch and people-watch. For younger, more active dogs, I'd like to take them on long walks and explore the neighborhood. I don't have a car, but I do have experience transporting dogs with Uber Pets.

I'm currently working a part-time, fixed schedule. In the summer, I WFH twice a week. In the fall, this will become once a week. Depending on where you're located, I'm generally free after 2 PM.
