I grew up with the Monster-In-Your-Closet breed, a Hungarian Puli named Sziggy! I've adored dogs since I was a little girl and I was raised to learn how to interact, groom and avoid being herded by my pal. My dad trained and showed dogs at Westminister and some of his craft carried over to me. I have so much respect for the uniqueness of every breed- I also respect every dog's individuality. I love goofing off with energetic puppies just as much as I enjoy relaxing with dogs that just need some company and don't need excessive cuddles. I dog-walked and dog-sat through high-school, college and in my working life. I've extended this to cats as well, being called upon to cat-sit for my neighbors whenever they leave town. Truly I adore animals of all kinds!
