I'm a full time graduate student and I am always looking to get out of the library! I can spend hours wandering around and I will go at your dog's pace. I also love to house sit cats and kittens and play play play. I'm punctual and reliable, as well as dedicated to clear communication. My flexibility and enthusiasm make me a great on the spot thinker and a generally agreeable person to be around. I prefer to match you and your dogs energy and pace, whatever that may be! Growing up in a house with terriers I have always loved dogs and I've spent time living with everything from a 50 pound husky to a 2.5 pound yorkie. I can't have a dog in my current apartment so dog walking gives me the perfect chance to have time with pups and also get my head out of my books!

Talia is an amazing dog-sitter-- smart, responsible, and communicative. Our dog is an older rescue who is initially skeptical of strangers, and was coming off of a surgery that required her to wear a cone. Over her week-long stay, Talia did a great job of patiently earning our dog's trust, and of diligently monitoring her condition. She proactively provided updates and suggested ways to make our dog more comfortable. She also took great care of our apartment. We highly recommend her, and she is certainly our first choice for future dog-sitting.
Talia is an angel sent from heaven directly to Bushwick, BK! I was super nervous using Rover for the first time after finding out I had to travel out of town last minute for work, but she made the whole process very easy and made sure I knew exactly what she needed and what to expect. She was accommodating, polite, communicative, and had an instant connection with my senior dog who was in very good hands with Talia. She sent me updates while I was away and even offered to hang on to my keys just in case my train was delayed and she needed to return for an extra walk, which ended up happening!! She was so cool about needing to come back and do one more walk and feeding since I was running late. The bad news is I have to travel for work a lot now but the good news is I know my pupper is in good hands with Talia!

I have a real soft spot for terriers of all varieties (especially border terriers, the pups of my childhood), dachshund, labs and golden retrievers, but any an all dogs are welcome! Before I sit for a dog I like to know how they do with strangers and other dogs, any health issues, and if they have any comfort toys or treats. Ritual is often important to dogs feeling at home, so I love knowing what their established routines are so we can be on the same page.
A typical day
I love long walks and time in dog parks (for those social butterflies!). I am more than happy taking a nice long walk with a dog with lots of energy to get out, or someone who likes to stop every two feet for a long smell.
