Love ❤️ for all pets big and small!
Pet care experience
I have always had at least one dog in my house since I was 4 years old so I am extremely comfortable around all sizes, personalities, and temperaments, of dogs. I was a foster parent for shelter dogs for 4 years while in middle and high school and was the primary caregiver for them all for feeding, walks, medications, and potty training. Once I turned about 12 or 13 I started helping with my own dogs' feeding and walking. I am currently a law student at Seattle University trying to earn money for school expenses, and am available almost every afternoon/evening. I am strong and able-bodied so I am able to hold my own with large dogs also.

While I of course have my own ground rules for my own dog, you also have your own ground rules that I will always respect to not hinder your dog’s development and training. I like to build trust with new dogs, as a new person can be extremely scary for them. I know not to intimidate or overwhelm them, and to not force them to come out of their safe place if they don’t want to when we first meet. I have a dog that likes to get into any and everything, so I am used to and comfortable with a standard procedure of closing certain rooms, getting food/other items out of reach, and anything else needed for animal safety when no human is home.
Information Talia S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs that go outside of the realm of the “standard dog.” Even if that is just that they are very high energy and require a longer walk or more play time, I am more than happy to do that if I know ahead of time. Any sort of leash or dog aggression, medications, specific ways to divert their attention is greatly appreciated.
A typical day
I like to walk approximately one mile as a starting point, and do more or less depending on each individual dog. Tug of war and fetch are are always a common place in my house, so I would love to do that with your dog if they enjoy it. I like to go on new routes to give the dog new things and places to smell, and to practice keeping their attention on me/the walker to keep them stimulated and reduce likelihood of negative incidents.

Availability
I love to take my own dog on walks to have us both be active. I am punctual when it comes to his own meals, and most certainly will be with your fur babies as well. Pet care for me also includes daily playing, love, and socialization, and some trick practice as well. Caring for you pet will easily be able to fit into my schedule as I have most weekday evenings and weekend days available.
