I’ve been a pet owner for 9 years now and been immersed in the animal world all of my life. I have 1 dog of my own at my family home who is a 9 year old maltipoo. I understand how to care for and deal with troubled animals as my own dog has grown through behavioral issues. Therefore I am extremely patient and understanding when it comes to animals needing special time and care. I am currently a college student and have an apartment I share with one other roommate who is also an animal lover. We both are extremely attentive pet owners who will 100% put the animals needs above our own. We have a grassy area right next to our apartment building that whatever animal we are watching can go out to pee. We also have a lot of sidewalks around our area that we can take them on long walks. I also did community service in Hawaii at an animal shelter where I worked with dogs that had been abused and left to roam the streets alone therefore I have a lot of empathy for animals. I am an extremely responsible and caring person and would be overjoyed to watch anyone’s animal. During highschool I also volunteered at an animal shelter in my town where I would play with and care for dogs from all around the US who have been abandoned or surrendered.
