Pet care experience

I grew up in a family who always had a dog, a house without a dog felt like a very empty home. Throughout college I began my Rover adventure, caring for many different types of dogs. After college I moved out to hawaii and rescued an incredible senior dog from the humane society. He moved to Brooklyn with me and we shared a life together for 3 and a half years. It was tough to lose him last fall, but I would love to continue my life around dogs so I’m opening myself up to care for your pups again. I work 90% remote and am happy to move my schedule around to accommodate you and your dogs comfort. I am very flexible, experienced and looking forward to meeting some wonderful pups!

Talia is very good with all types of dogs. She's patient and compassionate in their care and enjoys exercising, playing, and teaching them new tricks. I would highly recommend her.

Last year, I entrusted Talia to watch my dog as I went on my yearly, two week vacation. I was nervous to leave him, as he is very skiddish and has a hard time interacting with new people. Talia, however, with her patience and prior dog sitting skills, was able to break the barrier with my dog and make him feel right at home. When I went to pick him up, he didn’t want to leave! She is also very active, and was able to bring him on walks and hikes when he needed it. I was so happy I chose Talia as my dog sitter, and I highly suggest you choose her for any dog-sitting needs, as she approches the dogs she watches with the upmost and attention, and caters her care to the specific dog she is watching.

I think it’s important to know a dogs history, how they do with other animals, children, men, etc. We all have a history and I want to do my best to make any dog as comfortable with me as I am with them.

A typical day

I love to go on walks all around the city. I’m fairly energetic and love the outdoors so I would be happy taking a dog to a local city park or on a cruise along the water. I also live right next to a park which is a very dog friendly spot!
