Traveling Pet-Sitter
Pet care experience
Since May of 2021, my son and I have been traveling the US pet-sitting while families are away on vacation. We would love to bring our services to this site and offer you the same! When we are not traveling, we have been fostering animals with the SPCA, so our experience with care has been consistent! I personally grew up with and caring for cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, fish, and ball pythons. I also spent several summers growing up assisting on farms in my hometown of Minnesota, so I have some light experience with cattle as well.

Tajahya took great care of my cat, she was very responsive and gave updates on how my cat was doing during the stay as well as once I picked here up. Would definitely book with Tajahya again.

The BEST pet-sitter I've ever had, honestly. I was really lucky that I booked with her last minute for July 4th! So, I've booked with more than 8 sitters in just one year since I'm always on vacations, and let me tell you - Taj is punctual, patient, understanding, has excellent communication and exceeds my expectations in a sitter. I was reluctant to write that in this review because I'm afraid I won't get Taj to myself! Lol. I came back from vacation to a CLEAN home! More importantly, my 2 fur babies (cats) were very well taken care of, and I absolutely appreciate that. Thank you again, Taj!

I can accommodate any needs or schedules. I would be delighted to take pets on walks or to parks, as I am walking distance to several in the uptown New Orleans area. I am also perfectly fine staying in the house and just providing your pet loving attention. My son has been with me for many sits and has done well with all breeds of all animal types of all ages. He is respectful, understands when pets need space, listens to me, does not make messes, and never leaves my sight. *I do not own a car at the time so your pet would need to be dropped off and picked up, unless you happen to be in walking distance :)

A typical day
My son and I love to go on walks, to parks, or just run around and play outside all day long! I have plenty of dog and cat toys for both indoor and outdoor use!

Availability
I work part time online and am a full time college student doing classes online, so I am available to stay at the home full time to care for pets! My son is in school from 8:15am to 3:45pm Monday through Friday - for sits with pets that don't do well with toddlers these are the times I could sit alone. I work 3 hours a day (weekdays only) outside of the home, but otherwise will be fully available to tend to your pet’s needs!
