Happy dogs, happy hearts!
Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Tailynn and I'm an experienced dog (and cat) caretaker with a passion for providing love and care to furry friends. Over the past five years, I have been involved in dog walking and pet sitting, gaining valuable hands-on experience in understanding different breeds and their unique needs. As a responsible dog owner myself, I have nurtured a strong bond with my own canine companions , who has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement in training.I am well-versed in handling dogs of all size and temperaments, whether it's leash training, basic obedience commands, or providing them with exercise and playtime to keep them happy and healthy. With a genuine love for animals, I strive to create a safe and enjoyable environment for-every dog under my care, ensuring their well-being and happiness is prioritized at all times.
Reviews
Tailynn was absolutely amazing!!! She was so relaxed with our Great Dane and took excellent care of our home while she stayed here. It looked like she cleaned for us, everything was so tidy, the dog bowls were clean, and I’ve never come home to such a happy boy before. She sent me daily updates and pictures/videos, Gunnar even ate his food everyday, which has never been the case when we’re gone (he’ll often miss a meal the first few days). She gave us so much peace and we will definitely be rebooking her in the future!!

Information Tailynn P. would like to know about your pet
When it comes to being a dog walker and sitter there are several important pieces of information that I will need to be know about a dog ahead of time. 1. Breed and size: It's helpful to know the breed and size of the dog, as different breeds have different exercise and energy requirements. A larger, more active breed may need longer and more vigorous walks compared to a smaller or less active breed. 2. Age: The age of the dog can also play a role in their exercise needs. Puppies, for example, may require shorter but more frequent walks, while older dogs may have limitations due to health conditions or reduced energy levels. 3. Health and medical conditions: It's important to for me to be aware of any health or medical conditions the dog may have. This could include allergies, physical limitations, or medications they may be taking.I believe it’s very crucial to follow any specific instructions given regarding your dog's health. 4. Behavior and temperament: Understanding the dog's behavior and temperament is essential for me to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both the dog and I. Are they friendly and sociable, or do they have anxiety or aggression issues? Knowing this information can help me anticipate and manage any potential challenges during walks or sitting. 5. Training and commands: Familiarizing myself with your dog's level of training and the commands they respond to will make it easier for me to communicate and control your dog during walks or when following any specific instructions. 6. Daily routine and preferences: I will need to ask you about your dog's regular routine, such as feeding times, bathroom breaks, and preferred walking routes. Sticking to your routine as closely as possible will help your pups feel more comfortable and reduce any potential stress or anxiety.
A typical day
As a responsible and caring dog watcher, I understand the importance of keeping dogs engaged and active. Some fun activities I enjoy doing with the dogs I watch include playing fetch, going for runs or walks in nearby parks or trails, and even organizing doggy playdates with other friendly pups. I always make sure to cater the activities to each dog's energy level and preferences. As for special places for walks, I like to explore different parks, nature reserves, and dog-friendly beaches that offer a stimulating and safe environment for our furry friends.
