Pet care experience
I have volunteered at shelters for years, and am currently an employee at a vet in my hometown. I only work part time, but will need to book at least a couple of days in advance to ensure there are no conflicts. I have always loved dogs, and it seems that they have always loved me. There is a running joke at work that I am the "dog whisperer" because after only a few short minutes, or even seconds in some cases, the dogs enjoy my presence and become playful and affectionate. Since I work at a vet, I have experience with many dog breeds, and am used to some of the many personalities a dog may have. I will work to ensure that your dogs receive the best care to be given while with me so there is a good experience all around.

I lived with Taia this past year during school. During this time, she cared for the dog of a fellow student 1-3 times a week. She proved to be an efficient and loving caregiver, who is passionate about caring for her furry friends.
Taia would be great as a dog sitter because she has cared for dogs before and she’s always loving to all of the dogs that she has been around.

I would like to know how people and dog friendly they are. I would also like to know if they become anxious or scared during storms so if I am dog sitting at the owner's house and there is a storm, I know what to expect. I would also like to know of any other quirks the dog could possibly have. I do not have any breed preferences, I am willing to watch and walk the dog as long as they aren't people aggressive.
A typical day
We will go on walks around the neighborhood and possibly up at the Huroc park. If the dog has toys, I will play with them, and possibly play fetch if that is something they know how to do.
