I am currently still in high school as a person who has been taking care of pets for 3 years now, I can say that I have acquired numerous amount of skills that makes me qualified for this job. Caring for these four-legged friends has helped me gain great communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. By being able to understand these pets’ wants and needs, I am able to communicate with them better. Communication does not always mean verbal, non verbal communication works best for these friends. With problem-solving skills I am panicky situations better. With these friends, I have learned to be quick on my feet while thinking effectively. Last but not least, time management is very important when dealing with pets. Being organized and efficient with time helps me stay consistent with schedules, because pets do need to be on a schedule. Of course the ones that are personalized for them. All in all, I truly do believe that I am qualified for this job!
