Pet care experience
Hey my name is Taeler and I would love to take care of your dog or cat. I was raised on a farm and had horses, cows, chickens, ducks, pot belly pigs, cats and dogs. So pretty much everything. I was always the girl who was dressing up my animals, leading them around our yard and lovin’ on them from head to toe. In my teen years I did beef 4-H which I learned a lot about animal care and then went on to pursue my love of horse back riding. Specifically cattle penning, reining and barrel racing. But eventually I didn’t live on a farm anymore things changed and I focused more on my own family and work. In the last few years I have rescued two animals, one extremely sick and injured Pomeranian (who I still have) and one baby rabbit who I have raised back to health. I also fostered a elderly dog for several months which had severe medical issues. As far as actual dog sitting for someone else I have dog sat for a few friends while they went away on holidays. But now I am eager and excited to do my animal care taking for others as well as my own. I would love to get to know your pet and do whatever needed to make their day end with a big smile. I will send you pictures of our time together and update you frequently. Please try me out. I have experience, focus and a genuine passion for this, I won’t let you or your pet down <3

Lola misses her friends there. I will drop her there for doggy day care from time to time as she needs to socialize with other dogs. Thank you again for everything.

My dog, Kenny, stayed with Taeler for 24 days over the holidays. Both myself and my pup had a wonderful experience with her! Prior to booking with Taeler, I was incredibly nervous to leave my boy with anyone, especially for over 3 weeks. From the second I messaged her, she went above and beyond to ease my anxiety! During Kenny’s stay, she sent regular updates and photos. Every time I sent her a message, she had prompt and friendly responses! Taeler was beyond accommodating, from letting me drop him off early to extending his stay last minute, she made my life so much easier! While in her care, Kenny did have some moments where he was more difficult than usual. Taeler handled the situations amazingly and came up with quick, effective solutions! When I picked Kenny up, I was in shock. I have been Kenny’s only caregiver for most of his life, and therefore, he is beyond attached to me. He LOVED Taeler so much that he actually ran back into the house with her when she went to retrieve some of his items! I have never seen him grow so fond of someone other than myself! I can’t recommend Taeler enough. It is very evident that she loves dogs and is passionate about providing the best care to them! I can’t thank you enough for treating my baby like one of your own, Taeler, thank you!!!!
Taeler took amazing care of rua for 5 weeks. She was great at providing updates and took care of her as if she were her own. I would recommend Taeler for taking care of your pooch.

What’s important to know ahead of time is what makes your dog tick. What is your dogs behaviour like usually. Are they active or more low key. Do they like other dogs/cats or children? What do they eat, when, how much. Do they have any medical conditions or health concerns you have? And what I think is particularly vital is what your dog loves, what’s their favourite toy, treat or rub. I want to know what makes your dog happy so I can keep that tail wagging until they see their mommy or daddy again :)
A typical day
Everything day is different depending on the dog but no matter what we will be out to get some fresh air. We will take a walk around my neighbourhood and get that heart going. I like to stop frequently so the dog smell whatever it is they find and also do their business if need be. However if I have a more active dog we will take a walk through the forest behind my house. No worries if the dog is a runner, I will have on my sneakers and will jog/ run with your wild one. The intriguing sounds, the new smells and the curiosity of what’s over there, will keep your doggy busy. But it’s not always walks, sometimes throwing a ball or stick is what we will be getting up to. After a walk we will come back to your place or mine and have a fresh bowl of cold water. Your pup will probably be tired now and want to chill out for a little bit. Either on the couch with me or in his/ her little bed. And then it will be nap snooze time for a bit, until it all starts again. I’m not saying this is exactly how it will be but I’m saying this is just a glimpse of a day with me and your pup.
