I love animals. I'm not a dog or a cat person, but a pet person. I grew up with dogs and cats and have had them around me as long as I can remember. I had several families that I dog sat for when I lived in Northern Virginia and am trying to build a new base of dog families in Richmond. My current job schedule and frequent traveling does not allow for me to have a dog of my own so I get my doggy fix by dog-sitting. Cats are more independent than dogs and this is primarily an app for dogs, but I would be happy to check on your cats as well. I have experience giving various medications to dogs and cats (pills, eye/ear drops, syringes in mouth, ear creams, etc). I currently teach online and have pretty flexible hours. I can't wait to love on your pets and spoil them while you are away!

I have a dog who decided to stop cooperating with sitters recently and Tabitha has been coming to help him develop a rapport with someone new, hopefully to reset. She has been very nice to work with and patient with my little guy. He seems to like her a lot and I look forward to continuing to book her services!
Tabitha took care of my small dog when I went away for a weekend. I knew my dog, Penny, was in good hands! Tabitha kept me updated on how Penny was doing throughout the weekend and even kept her safe and comfortable when she had a seizure. When I came to pick her up, Tabitha had only good things to say about Penny and genuinely seemed to enjoy taking care of her. I would highly recommend Tabitha to care for your pet!
Tabitha is the best!! We have two very active dogs that we consider to be our children. Tabitha treats them just as we would! She always stays in our house so the dogs can keep on their routine and she lets them sleep with her, which is a real treat for them!! She keeps them active and takes them for long walks and swimming sessions. THEY LOVE HER and so do we! I'm a little neuritic when it comes to my dogs, but having Tabitha stay in our home with them takes all the stress of leaving them away! One of our dogs needs daily medication and allergy shots and Tabitha is great about making sure our girls gets everything she needs! What I love most is how excited they are to see her and the fact that she'll send us pictures of their adventures! My babies are in great hands with Tabitha and I HIGHLY recommend her!
My dog, Hazel, is love of my life. I always find the best of everything for Hazel. Tabitha was no exception. She was the best dog sitter for Hazel. She was kind, reliable, fun, and also accommodated all my unique requests for Hazel. But most of all, I was able to enjoy my time away from Hazel knowing that she was safe and happy.

I love to go on long walks around the neighborhood. If your dog is up for it I also love to go to dog parks, walk along the river, and explore the dog friendly places around RVA.
