Pet care experience
The animals we bring into our lives are rarely just pets. They are family and friends that stick with us through the good days and bad. They love us, even with all of our faults. I have cared for personal pets all of my life, with the exception of my university years. When I started driving I began caring for homes, pets, and children in an overnight capacity. I love all animals and enjoy the process of getting to know them and the quirks that make them unique. I'm especially skilled at first time leavers - those that are leaving their critters for the first time. I quietly and gently encourage if they become scared or sad and I can also distract and calm those who panic.

We greatly appreciate the regular updates, knowing the pups are taken on daily walks & even their considerations to our more timid pup that needs a little more TLC & time to warm up to you. We highly recommend their pet sitting services & will be booking with them every time moving forward!
Tabby made our vacation worry free. Our very elderly pets were well cared for and loved while we were gone. She was very flexible with her schedule and she was able to work from our home most of the day to be with them. I will definitely call on her again.

When caring for pets in their own home, I often find I don't need to do much to care for their safety. However, I still pay attention to the space to ensure they don't have access to anything that may cause them harm.

I like to have a general knowledge of the dog's usual routine, even though the dog can often teach it to me. This simply allows me to create a smoother transition for them.
A typical day
I do my best to maintain any pet's regular routine. I have found this helps them to settle into the change of a different person in their space as they learn that I still know what to do. Once we get to know each other, I may consider taking them to a different park than normal taking a different walking route, with permission of course.
