Tabitha was born to love and care for animals. As her friends played mummies and daddies, she played dogs and puppies. She’d be the dog in role play when we lived in Switzerland and not just to avoid speaking french! She has dog-walked and dog-sat since 4th grade and is now a certified guide dog for the blind trainer. They know she is the boss and will do what she says. Perhaps she’s the next dog whisperer!

I have known Tabitha for four years as an active member of the Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy-raising club that I lead. Her role as a club member has been to raise and and work with puppies-in-training. She excels at training these puppies, always using positive reinforcement and has consistent expectations. She is also good at reading and interpreting a dog's body language. Tabitha is very responsible, a good listener, submits all puppy reports regularly, and attended all meetings before she went off to college. I would happily hand over the leash of my beloved pet dogs to Tabitha!!
